Terms and Conditions

APPOINTMENT AND SCHEDULE

  1. A $95.00 fee may apply for rescheduling on new door installation if customer is not home or job site is not ready for install
  2. If customer is not home after 1 attempts for a warranty call, a service call charge may apply
  3. If customer is not home after 2 attempts to finish work order a service call charge may apply

ORDERS AND CANCELATION

  1. Customer may not make changes to any order placed including date if the order and date cannot be changed by Pro-Tech Garage Doors
  2. Purchases of new doors or pannels may not be cancelled if the order was placed and the delivery by the manufacturer cannot be stopped
  3. Pro-Tech Garage Doors will do the work according to the estimate given to customer

PAYMENTS

  1. Payments are to be made according to Pro-Tech Garage Doors payment terms
  2. Pro-Tech Garage Doors does not accept accepts personal checks or company checks issued for a residential job site
  3. We accept M.C, VISA, DEBIT and CASH

FEE’S AND CHARGES

  1. Customers are made aware and understands at time of placing a service call that a service call fee will apply in the event a technician has arrived at a customer house, unless cancelled by customer before the technician’s arrival at job site
  2. Pro-Tech Garage Doors offers no free of charge in home repair estimates
  3. No refund or discounts on parts or labour once the customer agrees
  4. Customer must redeem any offer or coupon through the service technician and must be noted by service technician on the receipt
  5. Prices may vary based on job, location, hours of service, and special offers
  6. Customers are made aware a service call fee will apply in the event a technician had appeared at a customer house and determined the problem is not a warranty
  7. Deposit must be made on all orders and balance must be paid upon completion of job

WARRANTY: NEW RESIDENTIAL DOORS

  1. Most of new doors installed by Pro-Tech Garage Doors come with lifetime manufacture warranty on finish (please refer to the actual manufactures web site for exact warranty terms on finish of your door model). The manufacturer will supply the customer with replacement panels in case of fading, chipping of paint or rust
  2. Pro-Tech Garage Doors 3 year labour warranty on all new installed garage doors
  3. ALL new doors installed by Pro-Tech Garage Doors comes with 3 year hardware warranty

NEW PRO-TECH GARAGE DOORS RESIDENTIAL OPENERS

  1. ¾ hp Liftmaster openers comes with a lifetime warranty on motor through Chamberlain
  2. ½ hp Liftmaster openers comes with lifetime or 4 year warranty on motor through Chamberlain based on model of opener
  3. Pro-Tech Garage Doors offers 1 year parts and labour warranty on all new opener installed by them
  4. Pro-Tech Garage Doors offers 90 day parts and labour warranty on electrical components of new installed openers
  5. Chamberlain may offer limited warranty on various components of the new garage door opener

CUSTOMER OWN OPENER INSTALLED BY PRO-TECH GARAGE DOORS

  1. Pro-Tech Garage Doors offers 90 day warranty on installation only of the opener
  2. Warranty may not apply if indicated by service technician or call center prior to installation

REPLACEMENT PANELS (SECTIONS)

  1. All new installed replacement panels come with a 90 day parts and labour warranty through Pro-Tech Garage Doors
  2. The above warranty excludes damage to Wood panels due to water leakage

SERVICE WORK

  1. Pro-Tech Garage Doors offers 90 day parts and labour warranty on all electrical parts
  2. All mechanical work is warranted for 1 to 3 year parts and labour through Pro-Tech Garage

VARIATIONS/EXCEPTIONS

  1. When its indicated no warranty by the service technician
  2. Otherwise indicated by the technician on the receipt

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS and POINTS

  1. Customer must provide receipt to redeem all warranty work
  2. Pro-Tech Garage we only warranty parts and labour done by our organization
  3. Customer may lose warranty in the event others beside Pro-Tech Garage perform any work on the warranted parts (including other garage door company or the customer)
  4. No reimbursement will be paid in the event the customer chooses to have another company perform work on warranted items
  5. Warranty is only offered to the original purchasing customer and is not transferable
  6. Warranty will not cover physical damage, poor maintenance up-keep, misuse of features, or negligence
  7. No warranty is offered on holidays, after hours or weekends. It’s only offered on the next available regular appointment of the work week and hours.
  8. Warranties may be void if problem was caused by another part malfunction
  9. Power outage, electrical shortage, and lightning damage to electrical component are not covered by the warranty
